First time weavers, don’t be daunted by this project! This 2-day class is open to all levels and offers beginners an accessible introduction to basketry. Saturday, students will form the shape of their pack and begin weaving the basket. The cotton straps will be naturally dyed and additional rattan will be provided in a variety of colors and options for patterning. Sunday will focus on finishing the rim of the pack and attaching the straps. Each student will leave with a finished pack basket, ready for seasonal adventures!
