Come weave with color and pattern on a miniature scale! More info...

Waxed linen is a soft, round fiber that comes in many colors, allowing for weavers to experiment with design and pattern by switching the color of the twining threads. Experienced basketry teacher and weaver, Rose Covert will guide students through weaving a miniature basket, beginning with a cross start, using triple twine, standard twining, cordage making, and twined down rim techniques. Students will use a large eye needle for packing and for finishing the rim, and leave class with a colorful, unique tiny basket!

This class is ideal for those with weaving and basketry experience. Ambitious beginners are also welcome, however please note that working on a miniature scale is challenging!
