Intermediate Watercolor

Join Bonnie Paisley in the WildCraft Studio for a course that balances skill-building with personalized project development. The class begins with a review of fundamental techniques, then shifts focus to individual projects of each student's choosing—whether that's a special landscape, a series of favorite animals, a portrait, or exploring a particular style that draws you in. Bonnie works with each student to develop an approach suited to their skill level and goals, offering targeted support to help you achieve or move closer to your painting aspirations.

Throughout the four weeks, students will examine historical and contemporary watercolor painting, break down various approaches to composition and beginning a painting, and explore strategies for tackling challenging subject matter. There will be plenty of time to review, practice, and build upon the skills you already have.

Previous watercolor experience required (workshop, class, or independent practice). Students will supply all their own materials (paint, palette, brushes) and paper (watercolor blocks, loose sheets, or other pads) for this workshop.
