Hand-Felted Mushroom Ornaments

The Duchess of Felt, LeBrie Rich joins us from PenFelt Studio for this charming holiday workshop. This workshop will give an in-depth introduction to the process of needle felting, guiding students through one of the primary methods of transforming wool roving into a dense, 3D material. Beginning with a lesson on using a felting needle to sculpt complex shapes, LeBrie will also demonstrate layering up color and dots with wool to craft convincing mushrooms! Students will leave class with at a collection of three or more finished ornaments, ready to nestle among the boughs!
