Join Native basketry teacher, Cece Whitewolf, for this one-day workshop dedicated to the traditional craft of pine needle weaving. More info...

Using long pine needles and thin cording, Cece will demonstrate the process of making a coiled pine needle basket. An array of coiling stitch patterns and cording options will inform the unique designs of each student’s basket, providing flexibility for skill level and material choices. Students are encouraged to bring a sculptural design item to incorporate into their basket.

No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops.
