Let's weave! In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of frame loom weaving, from warping the loom and drafting a design, to basic tapestry techniques. More info...

Textile artist and educator Jessie Mordine, will touch on weaving history, sources of inspiration, and provide guidance through each step of the weaving process. Jessie will work alongside students to support the development of unique weavings, and everyone will leave class with a small wall-hanging or “woven drawing.”

All materials are provided. Students will get to take home the frame loom and tools used in class, and leave feeling equipped to continue practicing and experimenting beyond this workshop.

No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops.
