Professional upholsterer and educator, Anne Williams, will guide you through the complete process - from planning your fabric layout, cutting and labeling each piece, sewing self-welt for a polished edge, and installing a zipper closure. You'll learn professional techniques including top-stitch details that give your work a custom, finished look.
By the end of class, you'll leave with a completed 17" x 20" x 3" box cushion and the skills to transform every cushion in your home. Anne provides all materials, including foam and your choice of 4-5 curated fabrics.
Note: This class involves more advanced construction techniques than our French Mattress Cushion workshop. Some sewing experience recommended, and students are required to bring their own sewing machines to class. You will need a standard foot and a zipper foot attachment.
