Set against the beautiful backdrop of Luscher Farm, this one-day workshop will guide students in how to process flowers, leaves, berries, bark, and roots, with the goal of creating a delicate fall palette on natural textiles. More info...

Beginning and experienced natural dyers will be introduced to the dye potential of plants available during spring in the Willamette Valley, while taking in some of the stunning landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and rich cultural heritage that the Pacific Northwest is treasured for. Plant identification and responsible harvest will be emphasized. Students will learn how to use non-toxic mordants on animal and plant fibers (wool, silk, cotton). By the end of this workshop, students will feel confident with the process of natural dying, leaving with extensive notes, samples, 2 naturally dyed textiles & a WildCraft Natural Dye Craftbook.

WildCraft is pleased to partner with The City of Lake Oswego to bring you a series of natural dyes workshops hosted at their beautiful and historic city park, Luscher Farm.
