Watercolor Fundamentals
Tuition: $155 | Materials: $25
Painting with watercolor highlights our relationship to the main element in this practice--water. Do we seek to guide and control it? Do we allow it to spill and flow? As the person holding the brush, you get to decide. More info...
Join artist and educator Bonnie Paisley for a one-day introduction to this versatile painting medium. We will spend the day exploring traditional and experimental methods of painting with watercolor. Through demonstrations, low-stakes play, and focused work time, students will leave class with the confidence to continue working in this medium at home, in plein air, or may be inspired to embark on further study - such as our 4-week Watercolor Intensive.
Bonnie is a very experienced and intuitive instructor who can help students explore how this painting medium will support each person's individual tendencies and style. This workshop is open to all students, (18 yrs & up). No prior experience with paint, color or drawing is necessary. Faith in one’s ability to learn is required as well as understanding that one’s vision is always ahead of one’s execution.
