Zena Kanes

Zena Kanes is a mixed-media sculptor, illustrator, and designer with a career spanning across advertisement, publishing, and sustainable landscape design. Born in the artistic and theatrical town of Ashland, Oregon, Zena had the unique opportunity to train under traditional artists and sculptors like Inger Nova Jorgenson, Gabriel Lipper, and Kevin Christman.Throughout her career Zena has produced award-winning sets, designed book covers for best-selling authors, and has now reoriented her focus to sustainable solutions to both her commercial work as well as personal art practice. Her goal is to make art financially accessible, environmentally sustainable, and a tool for self-discovery.
