Maren Salomon

Maren Salomon is a Portland based visual artist. Working across several mediums, her practice is largely an attempt to reintegrate and recenter our relationship to the natural world. For over twenty years she has explored different facets of cut paper and printmaking and she is enthusiastic about bringing these accessible mediums to new audiences.

Salomon has previously been an artist in residence with Cycladic Arts, Bloedel Reserve, the Vashon Artist Residency, CreateSpace Wales, and the Wassaic Project. She has taught workshops and done live art demonstrations in various capacities with the University of San Francisco, the Multnomah Arts Center, the Portland Art Museum, the Museum of Craft and Folk Art, and the San Francisco Public Library among others.
