John Henry Souza

My name is John Henry and I am a woodworker specializing in custom furniture and smaller handmade wooden items. I grew up in a converted warehouse space that included our living area as well as studios for my father's architecture practice, my mother's textile/ weaving studio as well as a wood shop. Some of my earliest memories are of building things in the shop or working on various projects in my moms studio. I have been doing woodworking full time for a little over 4 years here in Portland, prior I was a cook in restaurants. I enjoy working with my hands in any capacity! I really like collaborating with clients to create something functional and unique for their home or business. My shop and home are located outside of Portland surrounded by beautiful Oregon forest.
