Joe Robinson has been working with clay for 19 years. He has an MFA from Oregon College of Art and Craft, with a practice centered around wood firing and community building. As owner of the East Creek property since 2015, Joe’s focus is in furthering ceramic education through the continued operation of the historic East Creek Anagama and studio.
East Creek is a community art studio and retreat. Situated on 20 forest acres in Oregon's coastal mountains, the 40' East Creek Anagama wood fired kiln is at the center of our community. With a 5,000 sq. ft. studio, tiny cabins, and a wood fired pizza oven, East Creek is an artist’s playground in the woods.
