Flannery Smith

Flannery recently graduated with her MFA in Visual Studies from PNCA. While her artwork primarily focuses on collage and drawing, during her graduate studies she also learned to weave and quickly became obsessed! Since learning, she's been busy making guitar straps, belts, ribbon and more. Self-taught in the Inkle loom, she sees the practice as a particularly accessible entry point for beginning weavers, and equally great for experienced weavers who want to focus on decorative patterning.
