Ellie Rivkin

Ellie Rivkin has been a sewer and maker since childhood; building things from scratch is inherent in her family’s talents and traditions. Driven by the intersection between function and beauty, she’s worked 10 years and counting in the fashion industry at companies large and small. When she’s not geeking out about merino wool at her day job, she’s upcycling secondhand garments, sewing her own wardrobe, or playing with natural dyes. As an advocate for slow fashion, she’s passionate about educating the community about thoughtful consumerism in today’s world.
