Autumn Quigley

Autumn G. Quigley is a freelance illustrator working and living in the Columbia River Gorge. Her work in collage began as a way to better understand the fundamentals of design while studying for her BFA. It has progressed into a way of integrating cross-disciplinary practices and reverence for the natural world into her work. The narratives of the materials often inform the work, and pieces can hold layers of meaning built up through salvaged papers, botanicals, collaged texts and handmade inks. She believes that art can influence our connection to place and the stories we use to understand our own relationship with the world.

She has BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with an emphasis in illustration and a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University.
