Annie Scriven

A passionate outdoorswoman, Annie Scriven enjoys year-round fishing and crabbing from her kayak, foraging, gardening, and embracing every opportunity to explore nature with her family. In addition to her professional work, Annie is dedicated to sustainable living. She raises her three children in a rural environment alongside her husband, two cats, a dog, and five chickens, including a rooster named Cluck Norris.

Annie holds an Associate of Arts in Apparel Design from the Art Institute of Portland and a Bachelor of Science in Textile Design and Sustainable Fashion from Portland State University. With a deep connection to nature, her work seamlessly blends elements of sewing, design, foraging, and art, constantly drawing inspiration from the natural world. With a career in design and intricate hand detailing that began at the age of 14, when she was hired to craft couture bridal gowns in San Francisco, Annie has continued to refine her craft over the years. She now shares her expertise in California and Portland, where she has spent over 13 years collaborating with various ballet and opera companies, as well as working as a freelance designer.
