Join fiber artist Stephanie McCollough for this introduction to drop spindling! Students will learn various techniques for using a spindle to produce one-ply yarn and several ways to finish yarn on your own once you have filled your spindle.
Stephanie will discuss different types of fiber, fiber preparations, knitting with your handspun yarn, various spindles and tools, and lots of resources so that you can continue practicing this exciting craft!
No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops.
