This 2.5 day intensive offers curious learners the chance to explore the fundamental skills of weaving using a table-top rigid heddle loom provided by WildCraft. This is a great beginner’s loom that provides an accessible introduction to weaving, while teaching skills and techniques that are transferable to other types of looms, including larger floor looms. Friday night will be spent learning to warp the loom, with subsequent lessons focused on weave structures such as plain, leno, inlay and pile. Students will have ample working time to explore and practice on Saturday and Sunday, with Hannah available for hands-on guidance and support.
