Summer Planting for Cool Season Flowers with Chelsea Willis
Teacher: Chelsea Willis
We are so lucky to live in a climate where we can plant flowers in the fall for early spring blooms. Join Chelsea Willis of Sweet Delilah Flower Farm to learn tips, techniques, and timing on late summer/early fall seed starting and planting. In this workshop you will learn about flower varieties such as sweet peas, bachelor buttons, poppies, filler greens, and other beautiful, cold hardy blooms which can be planted in the fall to bring on earlier and stronger spring blooms. This hands-on course is held on Chelsea’s flower farm, a short 20 minutes outside of Portland on Sauvie Island. An ideal workshop for the home gardener looking to push their flower game to the next level!
No previous experience necessary. This workshop will be held on Sauvie Island, Oregon. Class will be running, rain or shine. Open to students 16 & up. Please leave dogs at home.
