Spring is here and the forest is sure to be bursting with renewed life! Spend the day learning about mushrooms. Students will explore the variety of edible and intriguing organisms the forest has to offer. The class will introduce students to the interconnected ecology of fungal life, mushroom anatomy and ID guidelines, foraging techniques and etiquette, as well as home cooking/preservation methods.
