Gather where forest meets sea as the tide recedes to expose some of the most resilient and exotic animals we know. This workshop will introduce you to creatures of the Pacific Northwest coastline. More info...

The group will identify animals, plants, and patterns seen along the rocky shores, a wildly dynamic ecosystem creating some of the greatest biodiversity of Oregon. Learn about the tides and conditions that allow these animals to thrive and make them so unique. It’s like scuba diving on land with your own personal marine biologist! Take a break of looking closely at the rocks to look up at a bigger picture of seabirds filling the cliffsides and skies. Learn about seabird ecology as well as how to identify the various species that call the Oregon Coast their summer home.
