Join artist and educator Isaac Weiss to learn the fundamentals of color in painting! More info...

Classically trained in painting, Isaac will share the essential skills of working with color in this one-day, deep-dive into hue, tint, tone and shade. Students will learn how to set up a complete palette, as well as the basics of color mixing, color relationships, color matching, and traditional color schemes. Through a series of exercises, students will gain a practical understanding of the color wheel. Come away from this class with a new perspective on how color functions in painting.

Follow up this workshop with Drawing Basics: Composition, and spend the whole weekend honing your 2D skills!

Students will be sent a materials list of painting tools upon registering. All other materials will be supplied.

This workshop is held at WildCraft's ANNEX studio, located at 707 NE Broadway #203. The studio is located on the 2nd floor and is, unfortunately, not ADA accessible.

No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops. All participants must accept the inherent risks of participating in a Studio Workshop and agree to sign a liability waiver.
