Spring is a wonderful time to explore nature and admire all the new growth happening in the forest. There are many wonderful and intriguing mushrooms & plants here in the PNW and they really come to life in the spring season. In this beginners mushroom hunt we will cover the basics of mushroom identification, proper foraging technique, and how to prepare and preserve edible mushrooms. Though we can’t guarantee you’ll go home with a full basket, we can promise this workshop will give you a new appreciation for wild foraged foods! No previous experience necessary, be prepared for cool weather and muddy trails.
