Silver & Brass Earrings with Sarah Morton Erasmus

This workshop guides students through basic metalsmithing techniques as you design and create a set of bracelets and rings. Students will begin with designing their pieces and then move on to forming, hammer-texture techniques, punching, stamping, and wire wrapping. Fusing and basic forging of the metals will be covered, as well as demonstrations of soldering base metals and fusing argentium silver. Students will leave with a self-design set of 1 brass bangle bracelets and 3 stacking brass rings! 

Students who have taken Sarah's Bangles & Rings workshop will have the skills to make more elaborate pieces. No previous experience necessary. Open to adults 16 yrs & over. Workshop is held in downtown White Salmon, WA, in the personal studio of Sarah Morton Erasmus.
