Leather Working Basics with Chloé Derderian-Gilbert

Leather-working is a classic craft and useful skill for artists and craftspeople who work in a wide array of mediums, as well as those interested in making and mending. Artist and designer Chloé Derderian-Gilbert will lead students through the techniques and processes of beginning leather-craft. Students will learn to make a wallet, pouch, or small bag from start to finish, and in the process, gain an understanding of construction, hardware, and finishes.
No previous experience necessary. Open to all adults 16 & up.
