Knit Your First Hat! (9am-12pm) with Lisa Woolridge
Location: Portland Studio
Teacher: Lisa Woolridge
Availability: 8 open
Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Love the idea of making an heirloom hat? This class is for you! Start with the very basics of yarn-wrangling and follow class instructor, Lisa Woolridge - designer at Northside Knit Co, to learn how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and cast off in this beginner-style class! You’ll start with a ball of yarn and by the end of the class, walk out wearing your very own hand-knit hat! Using the skills you learn in this class, you will build a strong foundation of knitting knowledge and be able to tackle more advanced projects as you practice. Your materials fee will include a skein of organic cotton yarn, a project bag, knitting needles, and a few other knitting accessories - everything you need to get started on your first project!
