For those interested in reducing waste, repurposing old textiles or exploring natural dyes safely, this is the workshop for you. Students will be guided through preparing plant and animal fibers (cotton, wool, silk) with non-toxic mordants, and preparing food scraps and common pantry items for the dye bath. Students will leave with 2 finished textiles and a swatch book.

No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops. All participants must accept the inherent risks of participating in a Studio Workshop and agree to sign a liability waiver.
