Indigenous Heritage of the Pacific Northwest

Date: Friday November 01, 2019
Time: 6pm-9pm
Location: Portland Studio
Tuition: $25

To kick off Native American Heritage Month, WildCraft is celebrating and educating for this first ever open house event. Join us in listening to stories and reflections from local tribal members, and engage with perspectives of underrepresented voices in our greater community. Gain new insights into heritage skills and crafts which originated here, by the peoples who still carry these legacies and traditions. Presenters will cover subjects such as traditional ways of life, the culture of food, hunting and gathering, traditional ecological knowledge, the Native experience in a predominantly non-native society, and the indigenous perspective on Thanksgiving.

This event is free to all people of Indigenous North American descent. Please email to rsvp.

Event opens at 6:00pm, and discussion begins at 6:30pm sharp.
