Join artist, forager and WildCraft's Studio Director, Kate Heywood, for an immersive 3-hour workshop where you’ll master the art of creating a 6-foot holiday garland from scratch. Kate will guide students through the process of selecting an array of fresh evergreens, seasonal berries, cones, and dried herbs and citrus to create a beautiful and festive garland.

In this hands-on class, students will learn key techniques such as wiring, layering, and securing different materials to achieve a cohesive and eye-catching design. Explore the diverse textures, colors, and scents of the materials while learning about the best practices for foraging in the Pacific Northwest. Kate will also share tips for how to hang and maintain your garland to keep it fresh throughout the season. Join us to craft a garland that reflects your unique style and brings holiday cheer to your home!
