Join local floral designer Erin Riddle of @TheForagedWreath for a 3-hour, hands-on workshop where creativity meets craftsmanship. You'll dive into the fundamentals of garland-making, from the thoughtful selection and pairing of natural materials to the structure and mechanics of assembly. Learn how to infuse botanical textures, colors, and shapes into a one-of-a-kind garland, achieving a custom look that can't be bought in stores.

Explore a beautiful variety of fresh evergreens and seasonal berries, along with dried elements like seed pods, citrus slices, herbs, cones, and other foraged finds—all with a focus on plants commonly found in the Pacific Northwest. Erin will also share tips on sustainable foraging and how to identify botanicals in your own backyard.

This workshop teaches a step-by-step, methodical approach to garland construction that is perfect for beginners, folks with no previous floral experience, and even those who don't consider themselves inherently creative. The class is also great for folks with some garland experience, who want to refine their skills while taking advantage of the huge selection of materials.

You’ll be provided with all the tools you need and expert guidance every step of the way. Join us to take home a seasonal showstopper, and the confidence and skillset to create many more garlands in the years to come.
