Join artist and WildCraft founder Chelsea Heffner for this 2-hour workshop at Cargo and learn the art of embossing metal foils to craft beautiful, seasonal decorations.
Chelsea will guide students through the process of designing and embossing unique pieces using simple tools and a range of metals from copper to gold-colored aluminum. Students will learn how to safely handle and work with the metals while practicing techniques for embossing intricate patterns and textures that sparkle in the light. Choose from a variety of template designs or get creative to make your own one-of-a kind set of ornaments!
This class is offered in collaboration with our friends at Cargo, and will be hosted at their studio space in inner SE Portland. More details will be sent upon registration.
No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops.
