Intro to Casting: Cement Planters
Tuition: $165 | Materials: $35
In this hands-on, one-day workshop, we'll explore the process of creating custom cement vessels by transforming everyday household items and reusable waste—like wood, cardboard, and plastic containers—into unique, single-use molds for casting quick-set cement. More info...

Artist and educator, Joyce Campbell will cover tips and tricks for mixing and pouring the cement, achieving different finishes and textures on the exterior of your vessels, and properly sealing your piece to ensure durability for years to come, whether it is being used indoors or out. You'll also have the opportunity to experiment with pigments to add color to your forms, making each piece truly one of a kind.
Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned DIYer, you’ll leave with a unique cement creation and the skills to keep experimenting at home!
