During this evening weaving series, you will learn the basics of weaving on a rigid heddle loom. This is a great beginner’s loom that provides a complete weaving experience, while teaching skills and techniques that are transferable to other types of looms, including larger floor looms. Sessions will cover the foundations of weaving - terminology, how to plan a basic project, how to warp your loom, and basic weaving structures and techniques. Evenings in the studio will be spent on demos and with plenty of hands-on weaving time. Students will also be welcomed into the studio during staffed weekends (10am-4pm) during September to work on their weaving projects.

No previous experience necessary. This workshop is open to anyone 18 years old & over who meet the Essential Eligibility Criteria for Studio Workshops.
