Autumn Foraged Wreath with Jill Mason
Location: Portland Studio
Teacher: Jill Mason
Welcome the Autumn season into your home with a beautiful handmade wreath! Inspired florist, and wild plant lover, Jill Mason of Starflower is taking over the studio with cedar, fir, pine, spruce, eucalyptus, rose hips, grasses, herbs, and dried blooms, all grown by local farmers, or sustainably foraged. This workshop goes beyond the basics of wreath construction, to share the art of thoughtful and artistic arranging with one of Portland’s most creative florists. Students will be encouraged to explore the texture, color combinations and shape of their wreaths, while discovering the properties of the plants used for this special seasonal craft.
Please bring small wire cutters and clippers, all plant materials will be provided. Open to students 16 & up.
